So This is Where the Story Begins...
I was born and raised in a small town in Minnesota. With a vivid imagination and little to do in a small town my parents encouraged me to pursue the arts. From an early age I was inspired by moments and the relationships between people. Everything, I ever created was focused on the beauty I found in the people around me. Some of my biggest inspiration has come from my wonderful family. My parents have been married now almost 30 years and still act like they are teenagers in love. My brother and my fur brother Tonka the big black lab have always been by my side to either comfort or irritate me. Then I started playing around with my Dad's camera and I fell in love with being able to capture a moment in time. I guess I have been hooked ever since. I love capturing moments that tell a story, show pure emotions, and especially love capturing love! Now I get to take photos of families just like mine all over the world. It has been an honor to use my passion as a way to help others remember the special moments in their life.
